Glass fiber texturized yarn is textured through special instrument with high-pressure air. It is as high strength as continuous fiber and as bulky as staple fiber. It has some good properties, such as high temperature resistance (550C),low thermal conductivity coefficient (<=0.035 Keal/m.h.C), anti-corrosion, high dust-accommodation and high filterability and moreover is has no harm to human body and is a good replacement to asbestos products. The cloth, tape and packing made from bulk yarn have many superior capabilities of high strength, low density, better insulation and others. It may applicable to pipe and tube insulation, insulation cladding in heating and cooling processes, fire blankets, insulation of equipment on ships.
